You're thinking water currents not wind. When we talk about wind we refer to where its coming from, eg south westerly comes from the south west. When we talk water currents we refer to the direction they'll take us, eg a northerly set.
Hey Brock O, been a while that's for sure.
Sold the boat unfortunately.
Went to Steep Point with my 11 year old son and it was an awesome experience, was there for 2 nights. Caught a 15kg Cobia about 1/2 an hour after arriving and then that was it. There were a couple of Spanish Macks and a couple of big sharks caught in the time that we were there from the 15+ guys that were there, so it wasn't really going off. Loved it though and will be a bit better prepared next time out, ie bring a tent and not a swag as the mice are very friendly and leave the gay parade party balloons at home.
