Anybody running a stand up seat for normal applications instead of its intended purpose?

Thinking about giving it a go in my 5.2 trendsetter as I rarely want to sit and conditions don't really allow it most of the time but was looking and putting them in on oceansouth waverider pedestals or manually adjusting pedestals just for the odd occasion you can sit in calm conditions
