white jigs kick ass
forget what brand about 25 bucks each...as commented eary yo.zuri ..if you want your expensive jigs to last longer try use clear nail varnish on back and underside off jigs,,dont get on feathers ...they last 10 times longer...

I am hoping to give woodmans
I am hoping to give woodmans point a go on sunday for some squid and then thinking of using the legs for some kg bait out near rowboat rock. has anyone had any luck using fresh squid leg on a lead head jig in the same way as a soft plastic??? I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

Cheap vs Expensive
Todays squiding off Hillarys
Cheap $2 jig from some cheap 'specials' bin - 3 squid including one 35 cm long!
Expensive $20 Yo-zuri jig - 2!!!
Hmmmm....

Colours
When trying the cheap V expensive, they need to be the same colour. Somedays 1 colour will do all the damage, next time it could catch nothing.
Buy 1 of every colour and you should do well..........
