You've probably been and gone but headed down real early to Busso jetty 2 weekends ago and had 15 squid in just over an hour. Best were on mulie bait jig but as soon as the sun came up they got attacked by Blowies and other small fish. Continued to fish artificial jigs in all colours and the best was a brown stripped jig (Can't recall who makes it, OK not going to recall I should say!) but the squid were on again until I left well before Jetty staff start. Admittedly the artificial jigs caught smaller squid but hey! all tasted great.

Went down to the jetty a while ago and caught 6 decent squid, pretty good feed, used a mulie on a hook cast out on a handline to bring them into the area and just jigged around that whenever they came in for it. Also managed to land a pike around 60cm from the mulie :) and people were catching sooo many herring when we were walking back in at about 8pm
