Spinning reel

Looking for a spinning reel that I can use trolling for sailfish,Macks and mid size YFT.
Also with second spool for braid so that can bottom bounce in around 30 - 40 meters.
Considering Saltist 6500 & Saragosa 1400, Which would be better value and should there be anything else I should be looking at in that price range.
The thing that is swaying me toward the saragosa is the lower gearing.
Is Daiwa set to bring out the saltist in a lower geared model?.
Cheers.

Trolling with a spinner is a bit tedious. With a lever drag you can just set the max drag to suit the line class, pop your trolled lure of the side, freespool it till the lure is far enough back, then push the lever back till the lure no longer takes line and engage the clicker.
Spinner you have gin around with the drag knob on the top, no clicker, flicking the bail arm etc.
Also, the saragosa 1400(0) is a massive reel for fishing 40m.

nono, i think he meant the right saltist, as in the 4500h, but the 14000 saragosa. The saltist do a 6500h also if that helps, they'd be around the same price.

As much as I prefer spinning reels, for trolling and bottom bouncing, overheads are much better. Can crank heavy sinker rigs in a lot easier (dont have to pump and wind the whole way up), much better for trolling, plus most have clickers on them too. For the situations you've mentioned, an overhead is going to be the much better suited reel. Is there any reason it has to be a spinner for these applications?

thanks guys, I have
thanks guys,
I have overheads for these applications just looking at what there is in spinning reels.
the thing is when I troll it is usually because birds are working over a school of fish and you can also cast to them if they are spooky.
As far as the bottom bouncing goes, I would use it as a reel for guests and I think that inexperienced people cope a lot better with a spinning reel rather than the over runs you can get with an overhead.
Till the 14000 is a large real but I intend on running 2 spools one with 10kg mono and the othe 50lb braid.
