Have fished quite a bit over sunset with plastics. if there is burley or fish frames in the water, plastics work really well. Gulp, which has its infamous stench, and also squidgies with sfactor definitely increase your catch rates, but any paddletail or wriggler style plastic that creates a bubble trail or rips into the sand will produce! GOODLUCK
Hey mate haven't tried for flatties but me and a mate had a night fish at rotto I used a berkley 5inchnuclear chicken grub and me mate a 7 inch jerk Shad in the same coulour left them on the out riggers and let the boat do the work. while I had no sucsess me mate got 2 pinkies just under and a good nanaguy not sure on the spelling but the buggers with the sharp scales and beautiful eating and these fish were caught between 7-9pm so mayb give the glow ones a go
Plastics at night are not a problem at all. The only variation i use is i tend to lean towards paddle tails at night due to the vibration of the tail. the most productive i have found so far for flattys at night would have to be the berkley ripple shads in the galaxia colour . Slow the retrieve right down to as the blowies tend to be alot more tollerable at night , the only problem you may have (which isnt a big one ) is the bream go crazy over them aswell as they move onto the flats at night.

I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.
