Seriously

Thu, 2008-11-13 09:24

hubbie and I have never fished this area but I'd be damn worried about what they are going to do to the beautifull area of Exmouth, so we all should be taking a notice of this and seriously thinking of where or what we are going to do for the future. Are we all going to sit on our hands shake our heads and say dunno, conquer we fight devided we fall.

Regardless of whether you are a tree hugger or not, this is serious folks and needs our support. Have a look at the map size for the area  and then look at the map size for Perth bloody big area indeed.

I've sent my letter are you going to?

This is a must

This is a must do for any fisherman that wants to come to Exmouth in the future, this just can't be allowed to happen.  The mangroves are the feeder for the gulf, the gulf feeds the life on the outside.  This is the basis of the food chain and NEEDS PROTECTION, HELP WHERE YOU CAN!!!!

in the words of Sun Su from the 14th century...
" my enemy of my enemy is my friend "

so working with a lessor evil to beat a bigger one is some times the way to go...

This project must be stopped ,if not you can kiss goodbye to fishing in Exmouth gulf.It may look a magnificent development on paper but the losses that we the people who visit the area are the ones who will suffer from it while the developers waddle off to the banks with pockets full of money.

Once the damage is done you cannot replace what has gone, its gone forever
