Shark sightings

I have just heard that Swanbourne and Cott have been closed because of shark sightings.

yep, saw it on the news the other night... have to pass within 500m and there's no guarantee it'll pic them up. It's mainly for research than safety.

A Tiger shark is also cruising the coast off Geraldton
according to another news report.

there are always tiger sharks off gero :)
years ago i help the fisheries herd two of them out of the yacht marina ..
and im not even going to say how many i used to hook while fishing the reefs around the passage in close :)

Hello, saw a 2.5m Hammer Head Shark to the boat on Sunday, just outside of Carnic.... mmm should of put out a nice bait out for him :-)

shark detectors are for
shark detectors are for great whites exclusively. there are 74 tagged sharks but they want about 100...hmmm thats alot of carnage. so far 3 stations have been going since july but now another20 stations are operational. so far the stations have been trigged 4 times ( positive detection)
