Hey Breno Have used them
Hey Breno
Have used them quite a bit when travelling around , dont think they are as
good as fresh ,but still managed a feed when needed .
Certainly a lot easier than trying to keep them frozen in the bush.
They are a lot firmer than fresh and hang on the gang a lot longer.

I used them many years back when I spent some time
at Fraser Island in Qld. They worked pretty well. We just dumped some mulies in a bag of pool salt.

I just defrost a 2 kg block
I just defrost a 2 kg block of mulies and layer them in a cardboard box with cooking or butchers salt.....layer of mulies then salt etc.
1-2 days firms them up well...but probaly still need to freeze them. 4-5days and they dont need freezing, just fill up those ziplock sandwich bags with them.
Cardboard box soaks up the juices
I really rate them.....epecially if you dip them in fish oil just prior to putting them on the hook.
