Anybody been fishing s-bend recently, heading up there this weekend, staying at the caravan park with the misses, would appreciate some advice on where to go and what to target. never been there before.

Not for a couple of months
Just ask them at the caravan park they should set you onto some good ground.
Beaches are soft so let your tires right down and expect to lose some tackle. There are heaps of spots to fish so maybe try the search button on this site for a few ideas
good luck

Them at said caravan park
Do not like to give too much away. If they say head north then I would be heading south LOL.
There are many great spots between Lucy's Beach to the north and south of Flat Rock. The conditions look pretty good this weekend so most places will be fishable although weed can be problematic in some places.
Large Tailor and Mulloway are quite common up there and there are some great Whiting spots for bait catching and eating. Popping for Tailor off the many reefs is great fun. The ground is quite broken so use a decent length and test leader. The smaller the sinker the better also. The gutters are very close to shore so casting too far can sometimes not present the best results.

ha ha yeah
It can be like that at times, if it looks fishy it probably is throw a line in. some grapnel sinkers are worth having if you fish the surf beaches

Good weekend ahead
S end has been fishing well, Mulloway around the 13kg mark are regular and the Tailor are starting to turn up in good numbers, smaller Mulloway around the 3-5kg mark are everywhere. use mulies on the Tailor and fresh mullet on the Mulloway.
