West End was well and truly alive with salmon today, schools absolutely everywhere busting up baitfish and having a jolly old time of it. Managed to hook into heaps today, from Riceys on the North side of the Island through to Rottnest box on the Southside. If you want gauranteed salmon, head to Rotto, they are there in big numbers, note thou, they did go off the bite around the tide change. Have put the pictures up in the photo gallery, will add them into this forum tomorrow, off to indoor cricket now, siiiigh.

Also saw nicko and jacko out there filming for the next fishing wa season, nice new boat too.
We managed to get some good footage today too, will get onto editing something up.
Whats even worse is that all the fish we caught today were inside the new proposed sanctuary boundaries at the chicken run. There would have been close on 20 boats fishing exclusively for salmon, not one bottom bouncing demersal angler amongst them. Another reason why you should all have something to say about the Rottnest Island closures.
