Rottnest ideas?

I am planning a couple of days fishing around Rotto with my young bloke over the school holidays.  Plan is to leave Hillarys early, fish between Hillarys and Rotto.  Camp overnight on boat in Thompson Bay.  Fish again all the next day.  Perhaps stay a second night if weather is good and then back to Hillarys.

I'm thinking some suiding as we depart Hillarys.  Some KGW, sandies and skippy on the way across.  Once we are there we have KGW, herring, gardie options in / near Thompson Bay, some bottom bouncing around Duffield Ridge and on the northern side as well.

What about trolling for tuna, are they still around? Or too cold now?

Also would like to try some jigging for sambos.  Any one recommend some sambo spots?

Not really sure what your asking as you can catch KG, skippy ect anywhere around the island but i always like to stay at stark because its closer to Dhu's, FAD's ect. Reeally depends what you want to target and how serious you are, The tuna have been pretty quite but.

Want to do as much fishing as

Want to do as much fishing as we can in the limited time we will have.  as far as the smaller species i think we will find those in close, ie in / around the bays, which is good if the wind / waves are up.  hoping that we might get out a bit deeper for some bottom species and give jigging a try for the first time.  some of the lumps around the north of the island have been suggested via PM and some wrecks, which if they are the ones i am thinking of, are a bit far out for my liking.
