Hi guys,
Just after bit of advice on what rod to buy ( make and line class rating ) for fishing at anchor on Five Fathom ( drifting baits out the back of boat for snapper and whatever else is around ) and also for snapper fishing in Sound.
Budget upto $250.
Cheers,

I'm pretty happy with the Fin Nor Offshore Jigging 30
Flexible to start jigging with but strong and reliable for bottom bashing
Not sure how much that range is going for now but if you shop around you can get it as low as $140

For $140 for that rod it's a great price. They are a pretty good rod and the 50 pound is a good competitor to the Tcurve 200. You won't go wrong with the Fin Nor especially at that price.

Shimano Terez
I got myself a Shimano Terez Rod 7'2" with a Stradic FJ 5000 reel which is now my favourite go to rod/reel combo thats nicely balanced. Good all rounder rod but have yet really test it out on something big. (model TZS72MPW-OZ 15-30lb braid) believe online prices are $199 at Anglers warehouse, BCF has them for $259 but you can haggle them down to match the online price as i did.

I just found the Fin Nor
I just found the Fin Nor rods for $129, marked down from an already reasonable $229. They must be clearing them for a new model. If I didn't make my own rods I would get one for that price.
