rockingham gummy shark!!!

Hi guys, today I went to Rockingham jetty for a fish from 5:00pm to 7:30pm. As soon as I got there I casted out a dead scaly on bottom, nothing so I got a live scaly out on bottom and set the drag. 20mins later my drag goes’ screaming and I strike and I'm on! I feel headshakes calling it for a mulloway. It was fighting so hard. Then it surfaced, and I pulled it up by the leader. It was going crazy on the jetty flapping everywhere. I finally got the hooks out and took a few pictures, and then I tried to swim it trying to release it for 5 mins. But it couldn’t survive so it is lunch tomorrow. Happiest day of my life!

I used to love fishing that jetty as a kid. Brings back happy memories, as I am sure this pic will do for you in later years.
Not much beats Gummy Shark and chips for dinner.
