Why not do your own reels, go to alantani reel repare, on the net, there is tutorials on how to strip & re install almost any reel that was ever made, worning, when you by a new alloy reel, they generaly have Stainless steel screws, between the two metals, you get a chemical reaction, so as soon as you by a reel, take one screw out at a time, & quirt some yamaha marine grease into it, screws can be diferent lengths, so do one at a time, always lightly wash your reels after using them,, & dont use to much drag, then they should last for years, lake the line of regually & grease the spool, to stop corocion, good luck, stay safe, keep well, cheers Don.
Yep, great site. Gives you a real sense of acheivement when you can keep things rolling smoothly yourself.
My Stradic's, old Abu's and a few American (Pro-Gear) reels were so easy to strip down. New drags, bushes etc. You almost feel like you are customising your reels. In fact you can customise and make them better than original in some cases with simple upgrades.

By the way, take digital photos as you strip the reel, then refer back as you, place them back together, cheers Don.
