My mate Boz fishes there every year at xmas..........he reckons mainly just tailor.

you get big squid off john point most time of the year ( mulie on a spike under a float) i have aslo on rare occasions seen sambos cruising around 

yer salmon flattys king gorge sand whiting and heaps off herring salmon trout sambos i dn about that but could be some snapper on rare acasions and yes squid lots there best fish to target there i would say is gardy they are every were around point peron hope that helps buddy dont get your hope up on teh big fish tho apart from the salmon

just got back form there.

i dug up the worms put on the hook cast it out and waited.

i got one tiny trupter i think i dropped a kg tho:(

where r the squid ive fished there alot over my life and never seen a squid.

the bay i fish is on the left when u r going right to the end of the point.

danno its the first car park , as you drive in you turn right and have to walk right upto the point along the track have a look on google earth its the most northern point of point peron thats where i get the squid , and as for the sambos in 3 yrs ive hook 2 and been smoked every time using live herring and burlying up heaps early in the morning

i the spot i fish is on the first car park on the left no where near the point in the bay on the left. thats where i normaly get  all my fish from never fished up there.

hav to go there with a few squid jigs mate.
