Just watching the news this morning and Cyclone Heidi is just crossing the pilbara coast now very close to Pt Headland. I'm just wishing all the recidents up on the pilbara all the best and stay safe!!

Just missed it
Just missed it driving out the looooong way from exxy. Road closed south for fires, 200 odd km north we had water up to the top of the wheel arches at nanaturra. Wierd friggn country this one!

hang in there mate i've done stints at yandi and when Cyclone George came through a couple of years ago i was working out near Christmas Creek and just got evacuated about 2 hours before it hit. Remember that was the one that killed 2 FMG workers not far from my camp

Took these on my way home from Derby about the same time the cyclone was over Hedland. It rained from near on the whole way home. Oh thats not the sun its the flash on my phone reflecting off the windscreen
