petrol burglers

found a syphon hose on the driveway this morning, the petrol lid was hard to get off in the dark because they couldn't find the special lug to open it up. keep an eye open these creeps will try anything the more petrol it goes up.

yeah have to watch out these days, i noticed the other day the nsw government is giving away one way screws for number plates, to stop people pinching number plates and doing drive off's, apparently they screw in but not out, maybe something that should happen over here

Sad state

A sad state of affairs, no doubt this will happen more often. I'd suggest that, if you haven't got a locked cap - you go out and buy one.

The way petrol is going we'll be reporting on the price of petrol, not gold, because it'll be worth more. Yell

a bbq igniter under the cap

a bbq igniter under the cap would fix things but you'd need another boat after the bang.

Its not just from your vehicles but your boats as well.It pays to check before each trip if you do as I do and fill up on the way home from fishing not on the way out.

petrol burglars

it was my boat fuel they were after the other night, lockable is the way to go,mauy moons ago you could buy tapered springy things you could put in cars to stop the syphoning, that was in the last fuel in the 70s when were going to be out of fuel by 2000.
you don't see many smiling people at the servos anymore.
Fast fish rule!
