Penguin Island last Saturday
Well now the good weather came back Saturday i finally put my camera down and dusted off the rods to wet a line. For the last few years i have really neglected my fishin and focused on my photography.
Last week around wednsday i seen the forcast for the weekend 32c! Plan was to leave the camera home and do some old fashion fishin and that i did!
I caught the 9oc first ferry to the island then made my way strait for the western side hoping for tailor.
I didnt get any tailor but did land 2 big silver bream and countless herring. Kept 2 Herring. I found a nice sandy gap in the reef and tried a bit of prawn for whiting but couldnt get through the wrass :(
I fished the main jetty after that and there was KG whiting there but all just undersized.
All in all a great day and felt so good to finally get back into fishing. Expect to see more fishing post from now on as i have my mojo back.
