Goodmorning ladies and gents
Im heading to Peacful bay in a couple of weeks and Im hoping someone can give me some direction on the fishing down there. Ill have a 4.5m boat, the dog and my partner so we wont be venturing to far out. We have 6 nights at the caravan park so fingers crossed theres a weather window to get out. I have read a few posts in the search column and understand Rame head could be good but I think it might be a bit far for the crew. If anyone has any info, tips, spots they are willing to share that would be greatly appreciated. If anyone is around down there at the time ill deff have a spare spot onboard as well.
Cheers !

Gonna need a 4WD
Strictly beach launching at PB. Been there many times. It MAY be possible to launch without one at the bottom of the road down to beach (just to left of point) but be careful going out as lots of rocks to remove props.

Howdy,The beach ramp is
Howdy,
The beach ramp is quite shallow so we had to launch the boat onto sand.....which was 1m deep shortly thereafter so watch the swell upon launch or you will get a wet car. It was hard so no concerns there...
Fish wise, we simply went out to the 20m line in a 4m tinny. It wasnt far. Dropped baits as soon as we got to 20m and got hits straight away.
It isnt plundered too regularly so there seemed to be plenty of life there.

Irwin Inlet
The Irwin Inlet is a good option for the days you cant get into the ocean. Easy to launch into the inlet and plenty to catch, not hard to get a feed of KGs.

Irwin Inlet
There's usually a deep channel you can launch into from the beach, and you can follow all the way upstream into the inlet.

Narced, yea I have experienced the South Coast swell a couple times and it even gets a bit of back wash off the cliffs in places. We should be ok just out from the bay.
