Submitted by ElDub on Tue, 2017-05-16 18:46
So im wanting to paint my boat and do a bit of work on my trailer. Worst comes to worst when it comes to doing the trailer ill just put the boat in the water for a day, but im stumped on how to paint the boat off the trailer. Boat is a 5.3m fibreglass half cab, and I want to paint the whole hull but how the hell do I do it off the trailer?

I pulled my 2.7 tonne 7m boat off the trailer onto blocks a few days ago to do the trailer, took 40 minutes by myself.
Was thinking about doing a "how to" if it helps?

Do it Rob
That would be great. Have seen my old man do it many moons ago but to a plate ally. Sooner or later I'm going to have to do a bit of work to my trailer that will take a bit more than a day or two. But in a similar scenario to you, with well over 2 tonne of glass boat.
