Fuel Tank Replacement

Hi fishwreckers,
I'm about to embark on a replcement of my underfoor fuel tank. It's aluminium, 140 ltrs and has sprung a leak! I'm keen to hear people's opinons or experience with the various replacement options. Am I better off with another ali fabricated tank, or go stainless or polypropelene. I was leaning toward poly, but can't find much info on them locally outside of prefab ones available.
Is there anywhere locally that fabricates these to specific requirements? They seem to be a popular choice in the US but not so much here. Or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place?
cheers legends!

Here is a link to a post from Brock O. In it he mentions engaging the services of another FW member, Paul D to cut and bend SS sheet into sections that he then welded together.
