Ocean reef tomorrow help wanted
Submitted by Scaly Man Fish on Sat, 2013-03-09 14:45
Hi all I don't often post up but would appreciate some help on where to go for a fish tomorrow .
I have fished little island some years ago for herring and skippy in my old dinghy.
I have a 4,5 Savage Surfari now with GPS and a sounder so I am more confident to head out a bit more .
The weather looks great so I am keen to try some deeper water.
I am not asking for exact spots as I'm sure they are well guarded but I only get out a few times a year at best so I am very respectful of over fishing an area.
Thanks to all those who help out
cheers coley

Firstly to the fellas that PM'd me you know who you are and Reef Runner thank you for sharing.
My daughter and I had a mixed day out , we never got to take any fish home :(
But had some fun with the Sambos a couple of bust offs.
A nearly size pinky that went back to where he came from.
The weather was awesome and it was great to be out.
cheers all

happy to help mate! we had a
happy to help mate! we had a blinder of a day out, Caught 2 10kg+ dhueys and 4 rippa baldys in the first hour so went trolling for a couple of hours and caught 4 stiped tuna and a couple of yellow fin that both got sharked at the boat, oh and the biggest sambo i have ever seen on my boat, would have been 40kg plus!
That spot i gave you seems to be a breeding ground for small pinkys and sambos, get the odd decent fishg there too, you just need to get out another 10ks or so and youll get onto some big boys! ;)
cheers Kristian

Whenever you are down mandurah way PM me
I have a couple off spots for you to try down there. That impressed me mate and it is a very welcome sign to see things like this happen. And they arent just Bommies, straight from a Local crayfisherman mate off mine.
