NT Charter

Hey, im thinking of going to visit some friends in darwin for a week in mid november and would like to go on a fishing charter while im up there. Can anyone recommend a charter company?

if your going for barra check them out thoroughly before you go there are a few shonky operators up there advertsing they use good quality gear and they use crap! the one i went on said good quality and when i got there it was a cheap overhead with braid that had about twent knots through the first 30 metres of it!

TRY EQUINOX CHARTERS WENT ON ARAFURA AND WAS PRETTY CRAP,BUT MABE THEY JUST HAD A SHIT DAY,NOT MUCH WAS CAUGHT AND TALKING TO THE SKIPPER HE WASNT VERY GOOD FOR THE COMPANY,SO HOPEFULLY HE HAS MOVED ON AS IT WAS 2 YEARS AGO NOW, ALSO BE CAREFUL OF A CHARTER IN TOWN DOING 1/2 DAY CHARTERS THEY ARE WORSE RAN OUT OF BAIT ABOUT AN HOUR AND HALF INTO IT,IF UR KEEN HIRE A TINNY AND HIT THE CREEKS BUT DONT GET EATEN BY A CROC !!! EQINOX IS THE BEST IVE BN ON IN THR TERRITORY!

Had a good time out with Arafura mate. Also went out with Darwin Barra Base for barra which wasnt too bad..

For barra I can recommend Geoff Corry at barrabase.com. Been guiding for years and used to run the original barrabase at Tiwi Islands.

 did a day trip to corroboree with them. great day, got 4 barra and the missus got one too
