Hey all
Just seeing who has a navman colour sounder? I have a 4600 that came with my boat and just wanting to see people experiences with them. It has a 50/200khz transom mounted transducer 600w. Also wondering you the auto functions are any good or people are getting more success with manually setting the gain, range ect. I'm not too sure I trust it that much when sounding for fish, sometimes it has displayed large fish, I have dropped a line and nothing at all.
Thanks

the navman 4600 are ok in shallower waters but if your planning on fishing deeper it wont do much good

Ok thanks for that, what do
Ok thanks for that, what do you set the fish alert to? do you have it on and if so what sensitivity? Most of my fishing is around 5 fathom to rotto so depth wont be a problemI wouldn't think.
