Hey all was thinking of heading down to the narrows for a mulla bash on the 26th or 27th but was just wondering if you can anchor up under there or is it better to just fish from the shore? . Ive fished eshed for the past 6 months but vie had nothing but rays so I'm hoping I'll have more luck there
Cheers

I don't fish from a boat so I don't know if your allowed to anchor up close to the bridge. As for parking there is a carpark on Mounts Bay Road. It's about 200m towards the city from the narrows bridge just near the overhead footbridge. You have to drive in from the city side to get into the carpark.

main channel
there is oviously 2 main channels under the bridge. If you anchor up in those you will more than likely get moved on my the water police not to mention run over my other traffic ferries, night time part boats etc.
I have anchored up on the side of it before and you can cast into the deeper water.

You cant park on that curb
You cant park on that curb near the trainstation - illegal. Your best bet is to park in the Library parking... pretty cheap too.

just
if you want to fish the city side then just park up on the grass right next to where youl be fishing..
ive seen people there all the time, never seen anyone come..
the worst is, mr parking man will come and tell you to move your car.. (95% sure that wont happen)

Yeh I'll think I'll just trek
Yeh I'll think I'll just trek it and fish from the shore I know it's unlikely that a ranger will com but the last thing I wanna do is have to pull my rods out and have to walk all the way back. Anyone thinking of heading down there next week?
