mullys on the plastics

hey was just wondering if anyone has given it a crack chasing croakers on soft plastics round perth.. mainly off the beaches but any advice on wat lures you'v used in the river would be cool..

been looking at it with everyone doing it on the east coast and wanna give it a crack here see if we can turn up the same results.

any help would be appreciated

 I've been working on this

I've been working on this for a while now, the guys over east seem to have many more smaller fish (6-8kg) that are more willing to take a lure and they have there times sorted to, I've been trying to get regular catches on bait before I start with the lures, the river will be a great place to start and drifting lightly weighted plastics down looks like the go, I've hooked one on plastic but I'll keep trying for sure, and over east there using the plastics at night and that looks like its working to.

If you are keen on hitting mulloway on lures then i highly suggest you read the book "shadowing the ghost of the estuary" this book is available from mopst good tackle stores and it is one i have found my self getting addicted to as of late.. the info in this book is so indepth that i personally believe it would be a great thing to read to improve your chances 10 fold.
