There is more to this

There going to trial something . Exactly what they did with pinks a trial ( many years ago) . Now ban area is huge .where is rec fish On this ? .No one getting any info at all ?. It will be full demersal ban . You wait and see .(5 to 6 months) My guess only .then nothing will be no change according to them . Then it will be 12 month ban trial . I personally think stopping cray men catching pinks ( mass burley) every day same time saved pinks . Millions of pinks around now days. Once again just my opinion. The more people do surveys and hand in frames the more you will cop it in the bottom. I will admit size has dropped over the 30 plus years on dhues . Numbers unsure on that one .i wonder what other sections will be hit

 Recfishwest are there behind

Thu, 2021-10-21 00:25

Recfishwest are there behind the scenes and considering ARMA has just been announced today, that's probably why we haven't heard anything from them yet. There is a lot of stuff going on at the moment and a lot of people I'm sure are going to be 'unhappy' at different points in time over the process. When things come to light, hopefully people make voices heard and actually contribute in an effective manner. I think that we need to have a better picture of what's actually going on out there so that science and numbers that are as accurate as possibly can be are/is there to back up any decisions made,  rather than the majority blindsiding themselves that everything is ok or better than ever because the fish have become so damn easy to find, catch and go back to.

Next time I'm at the ramp

Wed, 2021-10-20 17:03

Next time I'm at the ramp and I'm met by the uniforms it'll be a simple "I've got an empty bag and not willing to chat. Move along please" and next time I'm at a party and a greeny complains about fish stocks I'll kick them in the dick. Writing is on the wall for us, I'll be taking my grandkids to paid man made stocked lakes for a fish in the future.

Plenty to do

Squid. Taylor . Kgs . Long time ago I use to go to private paid dams for trout. Bob McCarthy’s in Williams was the best . Had huge browns and rainbows. Bloody good fun . Also regular to waroona /Logie /Sampson river and Sampson dam ( gone now mining) Murray river /Warren / Donnelly there use to be heaps of wild trout . I think droughts stuffed it up about 30 years ago . Now you just catch brood stock they let go. Once all COVID crap goes I want to go back to blue mountains . There fresh water fishery is unreal . I stayed at la lake just below snow fields . Best holiday ever . Until my braid got frozen and stuck to my rod eyes and I lost huge brown. Later I found out run braid line through bee wax .

there.  Bob McCarthys dam had trout like footballs.  Streams around Waroona and Harvey had clear cold water that hid beautiful big rainbows and browns.  Rainfall and watercorp have stuffed the stream fishing.  I see also the council and water corp are shutting down most of the access tracks into Harvey dam because of hoons, rubbish and threats of assault.  Jeez we can stuff ourselves sometimes.
