Hogging the secret mindarie wreck is just the begining haha they got all shitty that we wanted to jig the gemini wreck we gave them so much room and the old skipper who mind you was fishing more then trying to put hes clients onto fish got so upset that he wasnt the only boat in the ocean and decided to do about 18 knots within about 2 metres of our boat about 5 times .... Wanker!

he buzzed me last year in the 40's, was almost as if no one was at the helm he got that close.
gets a lot of bad reviews as well.

Yeah I remember seeing a review where they'd failed to do a headcount and left paying clients at the dock and refused to refund them, only offering them a future charter.
Even if your doing it for a living you still gotta show respoect to other water users. I had a dive charter decide to pull up no more than 150m from me at anchor at the Centaur marker a while back right in my berley trail. The look on their faces when a filleted still flapping wrasse floated passed them was priceless.

Marine Incident Report
These can be down loaded from the D O T site and I carry one on-board, I'm not going to put up with crazies and or dangerous bastards on the water any more.
If they act in a dangerous manner then the form gets filled in and sent in post haste,, I admit I haven't done it yet but after an incident with a tug last year in Cockburn Sound I decided that enough was enough. A photo also goes a long way to making the complaint stick and if some one loss their skippers ticket or masters certificate then so be it.
Let the arrogant dangerous sods front an inspector and explain the reason for there actions.

good luck with a DOT complaint
about 12 years ago my teenage son and i where drifting demersals across some hard coral bottom of margs , a shark boat boat came directly towards us slowly setting net , he approached slowly as he was setting , he could see we where drifing and our line of drift
he continued on anyway right across our line ,
no big probs with that , but its not like i was going to be pushed off the line , anyway , we finished the drift , motored slowly back up our line watching this guy as my son was interested in how they did it and he was close to us
while watching him i accidently picked up one of his markers float lines coiled across the surface in the prop .
we stopped and lifted the leg and started to unwind it off the leg
next minute , he had turned his 17-20 metre boat and was charging down on us full bore
we quickly got the rope free , started up and manouvered out of his path , he changed direction , towards us and madee to bow wash me if he could his 3 deckies where shouting abuse at us as he came at me
being smaller and more manouverable i slipped around behind him and got in his wake about 15 metres behind him , all the while we still copped abuse etc
conditions where to rough for me to cut and leave as i would only have been able to run at about 16-18 knots max safely , he could have given his size done about the same ..so we played cat and mouse , him turning , me weaving behind him for about 5-8 mins
finalyl he broke off and headed for canal ...
as he broke away i had time to grab the camera and get apic of him as he was leaving
anyway , i reported it to DOT ...they came back about amonth later and advised me there was no case to answer for him, he had 4 adults onboard to myself and my teenage son , he claimed he was setting shark nett and was unable to steer away from us and he had warned us visually not to cross his path blah blah blah
result was ?? nada
and in the heat of the moment and the wash turbulence it is not easy to record it ... im sure some can if another adult nowdays has the phone handy , but it isnt easy to get DOT to act ime

last year at rotto my boat was scraped by another, reported here.
Only way to get his detail was to lodge a "Marine Incident Form".
Despite a photo of the boat showing rego and several witnesses and video, DOT do not seem to be able to locate him.
The dealer who sold the boat to him a week before "was unable to remember who to" according to DOT supersleuths.
Lucky the bloke doesn't owe DOT $10, I'm sure they'd find him then...

i dont really care if they catch fish or not
i was just pointing out that having a skipper that does not take hes job seriosuly or is incompetant can put other vessels in danger in the future.
i did not intend to create this and bitch about the charter company , i was simply calling the skipper on that day who i know is not the normal skipper a wanker and showing others how he could of put me and my partner in danger by driving the vessel like a douche.
also i think it is disrespectful to drop cray pots right on a wreck when someone else is drifting it causing them to not be able to drift the wreck anymore.
and also the boat had 4 people on board and then another 4 people on board all wearing mindarie charter clothing and every single one of them including skipper had a rod in there hand more then any other people did.

His mindless dangerous skippering brings to mind another idiot of a skipper, his name is Francesco Schettino, he was the skipper of the Costa Concordia and he thought he would show all and sundry what a great boat driver he was.
He is now a guest of the Italian government prison service, if I remember right he caused the death of 30 or so passengers.
People who tear arse around the ocean in large boats and don't have the slightest idea of just how things can go pear shaped so quickly and put other boat users in danger really give me the business.

This bloke did the same to me last early this year out wide off Ocean reef. We saw some ground and decided to do a drift. He was near but our drift lines were apart by probably 200 meters. We repeated the same drift a couple of times as did he. Did catch much from memory. Anyway when he left he did the exact same trick as on your video.
I didn't say much at the time exept to my mates on board who all agrred he is a dickhead.

He was scooping out something from his big esky on the back and didn’t think anything of it until we pulled up just in front of him and it stank
About 15 rotten squid floating on the surface. Definitely report him. I would

Why doesnt that suprise me ! No concern or respect for other people it is wrong that boat sees more different people driving it then a frigging hire car. Every time i see the boat its a different skipper they are all mates and you cannot tell me every single one of them has done a coxswain ticket or a ticket thst lets them drive a charter boat with passengers.
