Metro mack

Been a great run so far, caught fish 3 sessions in a row. Have tried fishing the acres of bait balls out there for not a sniff, been doing much better fishing the current lines with not a skerrick of bait in sight.
Props to Glen for copping a treble in the arm whilst dealing with the first fish of the day on the very first pass, fished on to land another mack and pulling hooks on a few more, back in for the kids school run, dinner time then headed off to hospital 8 hours after the incident occurred. Too deep to even even consider the old braid wrap and yank trick!
Still early days, hopefully have a few more photos to post up in a few months

Depth/Ground
What kind of ground/depth do you look for? - I have dived most weekends diving rises in reef or dropoffs from rotto or hillarys, but have only seen 1 shark mack in probably 40ish hours in the water.

Nothing really consistent so
Nothing really consistent so far other than the current lines I already mentioned. Few from ~15m on heavy structure, some in the 20s off the ledges and the first picture was out in 30s and if you look in the background you can see the difference in water I'm referring to.

Great stuff
Inspired me to try when out last Friday, but no luck yet. Was fishing inshore, so didn't fish anything deeper than 12m. Trolled a mix of lures along current lines between Stragglers and the river mouth. Only managed a tailor on a deep diver out in the middle of nowhere as I crossed the shipping channel. Will keep trying though and maybe include a small tailor in the trolling mix.
