Just found out that Max has passed away peacefully a few days ago ...Sad as he was a great bloke and pioneer of northern rocks with immense skill and knowledge of all thing fishing.
Rest in peace Max and hope they are biting up there !

Cut my fishing teeth with my Dad up at Quobba. Garth's Rock was and still is, a legendary place.
