Hey, Just wondering what the situation is with crabs in Mandurah as im heading down there for New Years. Has anyone been getting any of good size in the estuary lately? Will be using drop nets and scooping.
Cheers

Haven't heard Matt but I'm guessing it would be a bit early still? Think you would have to work hard for a feed. Especially seems we haven't had a very hot start to the summer. Good luck though.
I fish for the future - Cause I can't bloody catch anything!

went for a crabbing session on Wednesday
stayed close to Dawesville and out from the Serpentine. Worked hard for 14 size crabs in 5 hours/. Loads of just undersize and berried females.
Good fun day though. Chilli crab for xmas.
