Arches
Dont get too hung up on seeing fish arches. You can still catch fish without seeing arches.

yeah, don't be hung up on arches
I've never really seen arches, even on the top shelf gear I have now--Raymarine Axiom pro w/B175M. are these arches?

To get a perfect arch the
To get a perfect arch the target/fish needs to move from one side of the beam throught the centre (where it is closer and hence higher to the transducer) and then out the other side. Longer "lines" are where they are remaining in the beam for longer. Scroll speed had a bearing as well - faster scroll speed = longer line (more page length for time in beam)
