nah mate nuthin that good

just with my old hilux i used to leave it unloked and sometimes with the windows down, nothing in there worth stealing and i would rather not have broken windows at woodies!

but it needs to be retired to a better life and get a car that will tow my boat better.

cheers mate

Might have to chuck a sickie on Friday and go for a fish, last chance!! I'm considering, the swell is the only factor.

Lets hope yours was rebuilt

Lets hope yours was rebuilt right, they all went bang at one stage of their original life, the 3.0 litre that is.

 you're a very defensive man

you're a very defensive man Tomcat, not the first thread you've arked up about, maybe  forums are not for you...

plenty of truth in the 3L nissans needing some attention and very much a case of buyer beware, if yours is sweet then lucky for you. My old man had a pourous (sp) block on hids 2.7L Patrol so personally i'd be steering well clear myself.

Agree outwide. My series 3

Agree outwide. My series 3 3.0l has done 320000km and is still going strong.

I manage to tow my 2.5 t boat no worries( if not a little slow).

And was way cheaper than a cruiser.

How many engines have the GU

Thu, 2011-10-13 21:59

How many engines have the GU range had? Iv lost count. HDJ 100, 78 or 79 series for that money (under 25k) would be a good rig.
