look pretty good but a couple of things
The gap above the top side batten looks rather large? Top horizontal end frames frames are inside out, ie. would normally be outside the vertical frames, not inside. The escape gaps--your verticals, which you use to adjust the gap, are pointing out, inside of bending into the pot. That means that a bump on them from the outside could widen your gap and you may not notice. Are they full size, ie 910 mm long? if not, I wouldn't bother with the second ( front) bait basket, and I'd then move the neck a bit closer to the front of the pot.
They certainly look solid

time will tell
but IMO bait baskets too close to ends and crays may feed from outside, plastic neck hasent worked for me in the past had to revert to timber fingers ,certainly well made just need to be weighted down to 38-40 kg when soaked thatl stop them from moving around.

not sure about others out
not sure about others out there, but I found that sometimes the lids on those bait boxes kept opening up. I needed up having to zip tie them closed just to make sure they don't open up. The year after that I modified the lids and kept them shut using a thin occy strap as a latch to make it easier when adding more bait to the boxes. Lost both my pots last year, can't be stuffed this year.

Looks good
Looks good to me. As long as all the escape gaps are legal don't see any problems with getting a feed.
Only suggestion I have, is add an anode to the steel base. This will help it last longer. Nice work mate

Yeah looks solid man!I've
Yeah looks solid man!
I've never had a problem with those lids opening up on me, the other style of lid tho which is held in with elastic comes open on me occasionally, but I think that's from it being put back on the pot the wrong way around after re baiting.
Think I'm gonna try make a couple myself next year for a bit of fun and to save some coin.

look great. they don't have
look great but they don't have to be that great if you are just chasing whites.
and IMHO don't spend too much time money and effort on making them the best out there and you don't need an anode. pots only generally last two to three seasons on average b4 they get stolen !

Bait basket lids
Should not open by themselves if the baskets are installed properly. Remember, they are for pro use, you can bet pros don't zip tie them shut-I didn't. Make sure the tab on the end of the lid (the one you push down to slide it open) can get up into the gap between the battens off the end--if they can't they won't lock in place-normally caused by having those battens too close together. And you can always bend those tabs up a bit for more locking action, the plastic will let you do that. And yes, put some ballast in--they are a lot lighter in the water than they are on land.
Hesitant to offer opinion on red necks vs finger necks--C zone can be different to B zone, red necks certainly work well up here, finger necks are Ok too.
