Jobfish Eating Quality???

Simple Question from a neighbour. Found a spot where they got heaps way off Dampier past Rankin Bank. What are they like as he doesnt want to kill for nothing.

Goldies

Goldies are gold, rosies are good, rubys are pretty damn fine.  All of them rate up there except maybe green jobbies which I can't say I've eaten much of so can't offer a decent opinion on.

Past Rankin is WAY past

Past Rankin is WAY past Dampier. I've eaten goldband, rubies and green jobbies, they all tasted nice, with green's probably at the bottom of that pile but still worth putting in the esky though.

Up at the top

Up at the top for me. We catch a few out in 100mts at Gnaraloo. Did well on them a few weeks ago. Nice firm white flesh second to Robinson's for me. Well worth the travel.

Will give the advice, and since he is a commercial  boaty up this way, if I head out there into the blue yonder, I will post some pics. Underwater expert, fishing gear wise -- well he could learn a little. Today I showed him my new Stella and he asked what is that?

But just the best bloke to have as a neighbour, and with the Com Boats to boot. What a pain to un-register them to go fishing.
