JIGGED DHUIES

Headed out from Mindarie at about 6am, got to first spot about 7am first drift dad hooks up to his first dhuie on a JIG! he was stocked and so was i, once step closer to becoming a full time jigger!
it was pretty quiet in the morning so we headed out to the 60s only to get small dhuies and pinks, as the water flatten off we headed out deep 200-300m looking for ground, not really knowing what to look for we drooped bait down at a slight drop off, but no luck. Hopefully we can get into some good ground soon.
we headed back into the 40s to a few spots, as the sun was setting i managed a small dhuie, put back to fight another day, all in all was a long but good day, rough in the morning but worth it in the end.

Nice Dhuies
On Jigs Cahal, have to keep trying using jigs rather than going back to plastics.
Slow or fast jerk??

thanks mate, i try stick to jigs now unless the fishing is really hard i might put a plastic in but it has been pretty good to me lately!
both really i tend to drop me jig to the floor jig it up really fast to get there attention then drop it back down for a slow jig thats usually when they grab it, but also a technique that duffy has taught me really worked yesterday a really fast twitching action with a slow wind with a few pauses in there.
hope that helps

Top stuff guys
Nothin better than success with metals, I went out yesterday of mandurah and caught 2 gurnits, 2 cuttlefish and a yellowfin tuna that hit my jig half wy up. My misses fishing bait killed it snapper, dhuies and the biggest nanagi I have ever seen,
