How did everyone go today?
Submitted by AlwaysFishin on Fri, 2016-02-05 20:33
With the unreal conditions Two Rocks ramp was pretty crazy busy even for a weekday. Plenty of nice baldies around the bank along with a few smaller dhus and the whiskery sharks were a pest at one stage. How did everyone else go?

yesterday
Was a beautiful day but as mentioned, no drift. Very rare in Perth! Good fishing until 10ish when everything died in the arse for the rest of the day. Lots of small dhus. Came home with Dhu, 2 BA & KG. Released sized dhus early as thought would get onto a few more. Fatal mistake!!
Great report from fads. Hit up there next time i reckon.

Nah mate I reckon it's all
Nah mate I reckon it's all gone east. Insurance pretty well came through with most of it. I've bought a 580amp welder generator intstead of my old set up. Won't bother with a trailer anymore will just fab a skid frame and mount it on the truck.

Went to OR and cars were parked up the street so we drove down to Hillarys which wasn't much better but couldn't find anywhere to get coins for the machine. Asked one bloke at the wash down station where the best place to get change is and he didn't twig on that he could have given me his parking ticket. Ah well at least I filled up the boat and have some bait.

Winter fishing is better!
I prefer fishing around mid Autumn to early Spring. The ramps are not so busy. In Summer, you get every man and his boat in our waterways and it can get a bit frustrating at the ramps. IMO the fishing is better during Autumn and Winter.
