For those of you who use the Hillarys Marina A friend has just told me that due to the Boat show, there is going to be reduced parking for cars & trailers, also possible ristrictions to the launching ramps. If any of you feel strongly enough about this abuse of one of the few public ramps in the near northern suburbs,Yes ,I know we have Ocean Reef, and also Mindarrie, but with Two Rocks out of commissi0on atr the moment, there are a lot of boats using Mindarrie in particular.phone up (a) the Hillarys harbour master, and the Break sea cod aka Premier Barnett and tell them what you think, that is ,if you care enough.

At $7.70 regardless of how long you are in the water you can shut the f***n thing for all I care.
I remember the promise when it was opened that it would only continue to be a charged site until it was payed for....

boat show is on 7-9 March
Recvd letter from Premiere Event and Productions yesterday as I have yearly parking/launch permit at ramp so they give free entry for the inconvenience.
Runs 7-9 March , some restrictions on 3 - 10 march, launch ramps not affected,NE car park will be in use if main car park spaces are full.
I can live with it,have done so for last few years, not sure where esle you can have a boat show in the metro area with boats in water and facilities available.
As for paying fee, If I can wash down the boat, run motor there and ditch all my rubbish , go home and just park it up , fee is fine.
