High end spin reels, - choice?

Hey all, just wondering your thoughts on high end spin reels. what else is there apart from Stella, saltiga and catalina? Looking for something else without compromising quality! What do you have?

The twinpower was good value when it was around if you're chasing smaller reels. i have a 2500 and a 4000SWPG model and LOVE them! a good pick up second hand.

Catalina is great value too without going top shelf like the Stella/Saltiga.

+1 on the Saragosa SW. I have a 6000 and it's a great reel but remember you get what you pay for, it's not a Stella, Saltiga or Catalina. Maybe Penn Torque? Alan Hawke certainly likes them. http://www.alanhawk.com/reviews/trqs.html

although saragosas are a decent reel, you cant put it in the same category as a stella. Just no where near as refined. If you're chasing the quality, and are prepared to spend the money for one, you honestly cant look anything past the stella or saltiga. nothing else really comes close

Saltiga and Stella

Thats it isnt it? the 2 x flagship models from both camps...

Saltiga Dogfight or Expedition models?

depends if you come down in size too then you start looking at other players like the Branzino models, Exist or some of the JDM models for Shimano that we dont really see here Vanquish or Mgabass has its own reels as well which are up there for sure.

theres a few out there im sure but the big girls seem to be those you have already mentioned

Catalina all the way for the $$

Check out Alan Hawks review on the Catalina, http://www.alanhawk.com/reviews/cat11.html - I have the 6000 and its value for money is great. Alan says there is not 2 much difference between that and the Saltiga. can pick one up for around $600
