Help!! need a cabinet maker or bloody good carpenter

I need someone who is a good cabinette maker / skilled carpenter and knows his beans.

I need to biscuit join two pieces of quality teack, about an inch thick to form one big plank about 600mm long x 500mm wide. The new dash for my tub.

I am not the greatest DIY around, so if one of you has good hands and tools, or can recommend a cabinetmaker, please yell. I don't mind paying for services in yellow paper or a slab or two..

cheers

Tony

Dont know any and i dont have any hand tools any more my self but why dont you Dowell it together much the same thing and they are cheaper than buying a Lamello Machine(buiscuts) you can get dowell and drill bits to do this at most hardwares

Most any cabinet making shop could help you with this as you would also need to cramp it together once you have dowelled or buiscuted it together and that may be expensive to buy the clamps just for one job

I was hoping some one had the right tools and needed a slab or two of beer to exchange for their skills.

I tried a dowell join the otherday on a cheap piece of wood, but found it hard to get a perfect clean surface.

As a quality piece of 1inch teak costs over $90 a meter!!! yu would see why I want to do it right first time

cheers
