HELP! Johnson street boat ramp

Spur of the moment decision this morning, but hoping to get advise on this little boat ramp. Iv got a 15ft aly runabout and will use the mrs' crv, will it be ok at low tide there to launch and retrieve? Never been there thats all just need the heads up, certainly dont want to have an issue retrieving.

Well you've past low tide so its only going to get higher from now on. In regards to the ramp itself, wouldn't have a clue...

I have an 18 ft fibreglass

I have an 18 ft fibreglass towed by a Hilux in 4 low and it can be a struggle. The ramp, which is made from concrete blocks, ends prematurely, leaving a large drop off. If the wheels of your trailer fall off the end of the ramp it can be pretty tough pulling it back up, even more so because the ramp is covered in sand.

Yep, satellite photo doesnt

Yep, satellite photo doesnt show concrete going far so I was thinkn there may be an issue with the tide out if the trailer wheels drop in the sand and the ramp is full of sand. Just tryin to avoid the chop traveling from matilda bay to drop some pots around mozzies, I suppose Ill just go and suss it out, cheers everyone

Very soft on the low tide,

Very soft on the low tide, saw a 24ft fiberglass going in and totally ruined the track, also took 15mins to get it out. From memory on low tide it is quite shallow so you have to back in a bit more to get into a bit more water.  Should be fine with the ally though and it's a 1 lane boat ramp

ramp

I have been using that ramp for around 15 years and it can change a fair bit with sand moving frequently.  Your boat size should be no worries its just the car its hard to comment as I dont know the 4wd capabilities of the CRV.  9 times out of 10 you need to activate 4wd in a patrol/cruiser and get a bit of wheel spin.  but its not like your going to lose your car there and usually plenty of people to help out
