Yesterday I was about to load my boat onto trailer when 2 helpful blokes offered to assist. Now I usually do this myself and takes probably about 4 or 5 minutes but yesterday with the help receieved only 1 minute . If it was you that assisted I would like to thank you once again.
Just proves that there still are good people out there at boat ramps.....
oh p.s nothing caught but enjoyed myself :-)

Hillarys ramp
I can share a story about good boat ramp behavior too. Last night I retrieved my boat in Hillarys. I just put on a new winch cable and the hook pulled open. So the boat slid back of the trailer and I had to find a way of retrieving it. I used a shackle from the trailer chain and did it with that. But during the time I was working with the chain and boat the guys next to me offered help to get the boat on the trailer. I was nearly finished so i did not need them but they offered help and I think that was great. It was about 9.30pm and the last thing you want is to struggle with a boat at night.
Cheers
