Spoke to the station today. The eye went right over the top. Damage to most shacks, the shearers' quarters and the old homestead, and they lost a water tank, but everyone is okay and they expect to reopen for business shortly - they have confirmed my booking for Easter.
The road is officially closed according to the Shire council but they had someone drive through today who says the road is not bad.
