Garden/Carnac Fishpark

I pulled into the "fishpark" between Carnac and Garden Islands late yesterday afternoon for the third time in the last week and counted 30 boats with more heading in on the horizon. On this occasion I was about the first to leave where on the other two occasions I've been last man standing. The question I ask is anybody catching any Snapper?

i was out there last night, counted 42 boats before the sun went down. A boat next tu got a pinky at about 7:30 and that was all I heard. We got a horrible big cuttlefish and busted off by a big unstoppable ray or something similar. there would have been so much berley in the water that it is tough to entice a snapper to your bait out the back of your boat I would say.

Understand your comment about the burley as I certainly contributed my lot along with my last can of snappy tom! Whatever is there is bloody well fed. In fact a few Sundays ago, in the same spot, I had some left over mulies and got a bit to enthusiastic and couldn't get rid of small sambos.
