Ford Ranger auto gearbox troubles

Hi Guys,
not a fishing problem, but does anyone who owns a recent model Ford Ranger with auto gearbox have any problems.
I have a brand new Ford Everest auto ( bloody fantastic car in every way, I love it ) BUT, there is a sporadic "slap or clunk" at different times when changing gears between 5th or 6th gear, up or down..
The dealer checked it & stated that the gearbox oil was 300ml low, topped it up and said, things were sweet.
Well, no, I still have the same problem

Keep at them...
I have a mate who is Fords technical "gofer" in WA-keep at the dealer about it if you are sure there is a problem.
Eventually they will refer you onwards but I believe the dealer prefers to fob you off as it costs them if it turns out to be a problem they should have found.
Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.

Rob,
I am hearing that there are other Everest's with the same trouble.
The dealer so far is being helpful and I have no reason to suspect that they will be anything but willing to sort this out.
as I said, fantastic bloody car, I am super happy with it

Was talking to a friend of
Was talking to a friend of mine the other day who's a head mech for one of the big Ford dealerships in town. He reckons if it wasn't for the Ranger most the dealers in town would be in the shite as they just aren't selling anything else. So I would expect they would bend over backwards to sort any dramas out with their present flagship car.

Does it feel like backlash
Does it feel like backlash from the propshafts? Are the Ranger are a Duratorq set up? If so.... that could be normal

Mate has had his in and out
Mate has had his in and out of the dealers since he bought it. Not backlash though. Just constant oil leaks.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
