have 5 days at flinders bay. not sure if to take the boat, as i have no idea if its worth it. if weathner holds up, has anyone got some {vague] idea of where i should head?? and is it worth taking boat? Mum not keen on open water, but still like some local idaas. maybe also somewhere calm for a bit to take the kids as well. cheers.

Blackwood mate.
Take your boat man and hit the Blackwood river theres plenty to do like take crab nets, fish for whiting ,bream and on really light gear have fun with juvenile salmon inside the inlet.Theres a skiing area up river a bit if you want to tow a biscuit with the kids.
If theres no swell or the wind is from the north launch from flinders boat ramp and theres nice size skippy and whiting in the bay.
Cheers
