Having a little holiday in singapore and just Google'd fishing tackle singapore.....
bonk bong...
about 6 stores very close to each other only a short cab ride away...
sorry family....
anyone know / experienced these?

yes I was there a few months ago. heaps of tackle there. you have to go look at all and compare prices before buying as some stores are really cheap on a particular item, then more expensive at the next shop
im pretty sure hong guan and joe fishing were the better priced ones

Mate, I literally just walked out of there. Always stop by and grab some gear. There is a lot of shit but some great deals on jigs and lures. Just bought about 8 jigs complete with hooks for 40bucks. Get amongst it!

Was there earlier this year
Most shops are small, prices on reels are not too flash but can get some jap branded rods there that they don't sell here. I stocked up on quality braid while I was there( almost half the price here). There is this shop that has the extensive range of high end jigs I've ever seen( forgot the name, but its almost at a corner of some street). Good fun but make sure u check out all the stores before buying anything, big price difference between them.

I use Fishing Buddy online and they're great. They've got a couple of shops that might be worth checking out if you're in their area Randall.

Sabre
I've been to Singapore plenty of times and Sabre tackle is one of my favourite tackle stores in the world. The owner heads to Australia a lot and understands the conditions, styles of fishing and so on. Definately worth a look.
The best reason for doing what's right today is tomorrow.

great prices on all stock and lots of choice of lures, particularly halcos
Will do mail order to aus
2. Deep sea sportsfishing, beach road singapore
lots of jigging accessories (and a clean toilet)

3. Lure haven bassaroh (?) street singapore
dont forget to look upstairs.
all are very close to each other and very well priced. Get the mrt to bugis. Take the raffles hospital / victoria rd exit and walk along victoria st past the hospital. Turn right onto arab street. Stores are up the beach rd end. Its about a 5 - 10 minute walk.
