Hey guys planning a boys weekend fishing at Jurien Bay around the start off Aug anyone know what the fishing is like around that time

i hope it is good that time of year we are going up there mid august

went last year was good got snapper dhu baldies tuna

hope the same this year

I just got back and the skippy where ther in numbers in the bay and the whiting where nice size in front of favorite island. We just missed the fish kill so we got nothing fishing the marina......

i've booked out the boat with whitey... im supposed to be heading out on sunday.

but me thinks it wont be happening with the severe wind and swell warning :(

good luck if you perservere with the weather this weekend.

yeah the weed banks near favorite island did us well and so did  a spot over a gravelly bottom in 14m of water between island and nothheads.
