Fishing exmouth

Hey guys, new to the Fishwrecked site so go easy please, heading to exmouth with the family second week of july and was hoping to get some good advice on places and depths to fish so I can take the teenage daughters out for an awesome fishing experience. Taking a savage mako 5.8metre. Any tips would be much appreciated. Thanks

G'day Muz,

Try the search button on the left of the forum topic mate, Exmouth is pretty much the most discussed topic on this site and there are pages on pages on pages of info avail.

But just quickly, outside of tantas 5-35m country is trout, rankins spangs, 35 to 110m reds, spangs, rankins and over 80 is usually goldband.  Troll the back of the reef in 25-40m for spaniards, over 40m for marlin.  Thats the general guide, but seriously have a look in the search, after living in Exxy for 5 years, I have put up some good information and tips for people coming up, you just need to search for it.

Cheers,

Adam

The inside bommies are under

The inside bommies are under estimated, once you get through the smaller cod the variety is incredible, 2.5 inch atomic guzzlers in and around the structure/out on the flats get demolished. Spangos, baldys, goldens.. you might have to cast for a while but its well worth it.

Cultiva Savoy shad... let it sink and twitch.
